Current scope: Straight-pipe friction uses 64/Re for laminar flow, the
Colebrook-White equation for turbulent flow, and the Churchill correlation through the
transition region. Fitting coefficients use a separate complete-turbulence reference factor,
fT. Tees/wyes, tilting-disc check valves, custom friction factors, and multi-diameter pipe
sections are intentionally not implemented yet.
